I read the book a looooong time ago when it first came out and was hooked. The movie is good, but the ending sucks. It's not the same as the book :( Jennie 08-03-2007, 03:13 PM I love that movie, it makes me :tears Marinegurl808 08-03-2007, 03:14 PM Nicholas Sparks is my favorite author. Mao 08-03-2007, 03:21 PM It's one of my favourite films! I read the book after watching the film so the ending doesn't bother me so much. MichelleB 08-03-2007, 03:22 PM I'm just nitpicking :giggle The movie was still good!! eeyore_adw 08-03-2007, 03:23 PM I watched it and really like it as well....I read the Notebook and The Wedding (signed by N.S. thanks best friend!) and loved both of the books! Mao 08-03-2007, 03:24 PM I'm just nitpicking :giggle The movie was still good!! Sorry, my post wasn't aimed at you! :oops It's just easier to like a film adaptation if you haven't read the book yet. Miss B Hav'n 08-03-2007, 03:39 PM Personally, I have not been really happy with any of the movie versions of Nicholas Sparks books. I'm like that with all books converted to movies though because I prefer the story in it's orginal form vs. having changes made to it. MichelleB 08-03-2007, 03:40 PM Sorry, my post wasn't aimed at you! :oops It's just easier to like a film adaptation if you haven't read the book yet. Oh I know! Yeah sadly to say no book can be just like a movie...I wish it could but most of the time when books are converted to movies, they're not the same |
