thekels9 08-03-2007, 11:14 PM Hi everyone!! Well....let's see. My boyfriend came to me not even a month ago and told me he was thinking of joining the military. Within a week, he was enlisted, within 2 weeks, he was gone! He has now been at BCT for about 2 weeks. I'm really looking for a good group of girlfriends, even if it's 'just' online, to help me as I learn my way around everything Army, and that I can help to support also! There are enough BAD significant others to military men that I've heard about...and I'm just looking for a good solid group of ladies!

thekels9 08-03-2007, 11:27 PM Well....for the privilege of phantomlotta and anyone else that is wondering exactly who I am....I'm a 23 year old, 3rd grade teacher who is living in her hometown until the future comes into clear view a little more! This will be my 2nd year teaching 3rd grade....we start at the end of this month and I've already been busy getting everything ready....but I'm taking a week off starting tomorrow 8/4 to go to Nashville! It will be my 2nd time, but I'm going with my parents and brother, and it is all their 1st time in Nashvegas! I'm really excited about it all....just wish my guy could have gone too!! It's okay though...someday! I'm not a wild type or anything....but I enjoy a good margarita every now and then (more now's than then's).
