I have a question for a friend who is currently going for her AA at a community college. I've never done this so I don't have an answer, but maybe someone here will:

She has 3 classes left to finish her AA. Could she start taking classes at the university for her major as well as continue with the AA at the other school? She definitely needs the AA because without it, the university won't accept grade forgiveness. Is it possible to do that? I told her to call the university but she can't get in to talk to anyone any earlier than Thursday. She just needed to know if it was possible so that she could start registration for the university.

I hope that made sense.

Since she so close to getting her AA I'm sure she can, but she might want to wait so that her class load isn't so high plus the university might need her AA degree points to get her registered with the right degree it would depend on the university shes looking into. I know when I registered for CTU they needed my community college transcripts to make sure I had my full as degree so that I could transfer in as a JR to start working on my BS...so her best bet would be to call or to stop by the university and talk to them

I agree.

I transferred to a university before I had my AA and they looked at all my classes and grades.
