Women at the University of Houston are urged to be cautious while in public restrooms after two incidents of improper photography were reported.

The victims told campus police that they were in a women's restroom when a suspect attempted to take a video or photograph of them over the wall of the stall.

The first incident, at 3:04 p.m. on July 23, happened in the first floor restroom of the M.D. Anderson Library and the suspect fled the scene.

On July 31, at 3:38 p.m., another woman reported that she was in a second-floor restroom stall in Agnes Arnold Hall when an unknown suspect with a black "Motorola RZR" phone attempted to take a photograph over the top of the stall. The woman yelled at the suspect, who again fled the scene.

"The best prevention is simple personal vigilance. If anyone encounters anything suspicious, they should immediately contact police," said University of Houston spokesman Eric Gerber.

Gerber said that this is the first of this type of incident reported on campus, and that the same person is suspected in both incidents.

i don't know if this is a student or just someone that walked onto the campus but they really need to make UH more difficult to get onto.
