Thanks to everyone for helping me with my resume, especially MichelleB and Navywife-sweetheart. I was completely lost and I really appreciate all of the advice you gave :)

I heard from EVMS - they said that they can't transfer me because I'm too far along with the project, however they're willing to consider shaving off a year from a new PhD. I'm really not sure about it. On the plus side, I can decide to specialise in something else and they said my fees will be waived and I'll be paid a stipend. On the other hand, it's going to take 4-6 years to complete (and I swore I'll never take another exam again!) - I'm not sure what'll happen if we get orders somewhere else in 2yrs. :neutral
