HEY! Our weekend was ok. This weekend's going to be a busy one, Saturday is Camryn's family birthday party, and Sunday we're gonna be doing whatever she wants since that's her big day. I can't believe my little one is 3 already! Chula Vista's Lemon Festival is this weekend, so we may go to that.

Next week will be filled with getting ready for her birthday playdate. She's having a few friends over for cake and playtime on the 15th.

Today we're going to a storytime program at a local library, and after that I have to run to the grocery store for bread and stuff.

So far one of the main upsides to living out here in CA is that there's almost no humidity compared to south Texas. It's never felt above 85 to me out here. ( I love hot weather, but don't miss the humidity) The nights are down right cold... I woke up freezing this morning. The trees and mountains are beautiful. I don't like much else about out here, it's too crowded, and WAY too expensive.

About me... hmm... I'm a SAHM, but am planning on going to school to become a vet. tech once Camryn's in kindergarten. Even if I only work part time, I think it would be great for me, and doing part time I could still be room mom for her class.. I really want to be able to do that. Hubby and I have been married a little over 7 years, together for 8 mid sept. That's really about it.. lol.. I don't want to bore ya! :lol

Can you give me some clues about yourself without revealing too much? Where are you originally from? Any kids? What branch are you associated with?

OH MY I cant stand hot weather humid or not :sigh Ya SD is VERY crowded! I think people dont understand that until the at least visit there.

I'm gonna be very busy, and DH is going to be gone 99% of the time doing selectee stuff. He got home around 6:30 tonight and I figured it was going to be later than that.

Tomorrow I'm going to be cleaning like a crazy lady, since my neat freak MIL will be here Sat. Not much else to go on about... LOL..

Any plans for the weekend?

Things are as normal as can be during "transition"..DH's hours are gonna be crazy from now on... I took Camryn to her 3 year checkup.. She's gained 1lb and grown 1 inch since March. Everything else is great, and she's a normal, stubborn 3 year old..

After the appointment we went to walmart so she could spend her birthday money.. She got the barbie swimming pool and car.. and some new shades.. lol..

Then we went to the mall to look for khaki ball dresses.. EVERYTHING decent was over $80. DH had better find out soon exactly what the appropriate attire is.. since I want to know if a dress I already own will work, or if I need to buy a completely different one.

Wednesday is Camryn's birthday party/playdate and then Thurs. DH has a CPO selectee picnic thing that Cam and I are planning on going to.

That's about all that's going on around here.. I'm about to sit down with some lunch and a cold drink.. I'm tired from running around the mall carrying a kid.. (I forgot the stroller :duh) Laundry and dishes need done, but they can wait.

Yes, there's been a lot of drama.. a lot of stress and a lot of wishing time would hurry up and pass already. It was hot here yesterday.. not so bad today, but it's overcast, and I wish it would rain! I've really been missing the AC this week!

Cam's been trying my patience today, but that's normal.. other than that it's been a great day.
