so i am new to this whole military life thing and i am dealing with my fiance leaving for the very first time on deployment are there any ways that can make coping with this easier if so please let me know because i am taking it harder then i thought i would and thanks for the advice that you will soon be giving me!(L)

Stay busy!!! And try to have some sort of support system where you can just vent and they understand without saying a word.

this is definetly a good place to find support, especially on the days when you just feel like you need to scream....because most of the time your friends and family just don't understand...stay as busy as you can, make lists of stuff you need to or want to do, so that when the times pop up and you can't think of a single thing to do, you have some ideas to keep you busy...keep your head up sweetie :) we're all here for you if you need anything!

I agree. Staying busy is very important. The busier you stay, the quicker the days go by and the sooner he'll be back home with you.
A support system is very important. You need a group of friends that are going through the same as you (like us :hehe ).
