I received some pretty awesome news this afternoon...

I'm starting my MBA program next week. So, it was a sweet surprise to receive an e-mail entitled 'scholarship notification' from my business school today. My merit scholarship is worth $42,000!!! What an unexpected bit of good news :)

the program for the semester in shanghai sounds amazing. they offer a lot of great semester abroad programs but the shanghai experience is one that i think could go a long way in propelling one's career

:yes It's a great opportunity for her, she is half-Chinese and studied Chinese in college. And her new boyfriend is Chinese. After years not really exploring her Chinese ancestry, only dating white guys, etc, she is really starting to embrace her heritage, which is cool to watch!
