Hey, I was just wondering a few things. I just gave Cam baby food for dinner tonight and he ate probably a quarter of one of those little Gerber baby food containers. How much did Brenna eat the first time? And did she take a bottle after or later on that day? I'm just wondering exactly how much the food is supposed to supplement the bottles. It seems like Brenna and Cam are close in age and pretty similar in size and stuff so I figured it might be good to ask ya! :) TIA.

I know I'm not Dustie. But Ellie ate about 1/4 of a jar of food at first and had a bottle about 30mins to an hour after. It really depends on him. I would go by his reaction to it.

My friends son is the same age as Ellie and 3x his size, but he BARELY ate a 1/4 of a jar and only 4oz of formula, when Ellie was eating a full jar and 8oz. :dunno it just really depends on him. Good luck though!!

As for Brenna eating she ate the entire Stage 1 container of sweet potatoes and then 4 ounces of formula. Shes a big girl though( 16 pounds now) so shes always hungry. Today she ate an entire thing again and formula.

your kiddo will let you know when hes full or not. Just watch the tell tell signs( IF hes already used to a spoon) then if he keeps pushing out the food, hes full.

Thanks!! He took about 4 ounces almost right after and then another bottle tonight before bed but I can tell the food is really helping cut down on his need for a bottle! Which is good. I'll have to try with a little more food next time, I think he definitely could have eaten more I just didn't know if I was giving him too much, but it doesn't sound like that's the case.
