I know I have a while but I am trying to find out as much as possible. I was looking at the housing availability for camp pendleton and there are no 4 bedrooms available. How does this work? Here, there wasn't a waiting list for us so we didn't have to do anything..Just curious...

i am not positive but I would assume they would offer you a three bedroom or give you the option to wait til one of the 4 bedrooms open up.

Do they have 4 beds at all? If they do then availability may change. You may need to set up in a hotel to start tho. Once you get here you would go to the housing office and fill out the paperwork and they will let you know what is available and what is not. If you qualify for a 4 bed and 1 is not available they will put you on a wait list and you can either pay to stay in a motel or rent in town while on the list. Or sometimes you can get lucky and something will be available the day ya get there (like for us)

It all really varies. Call the housing office and see if they have an average waittime and all that
