Hi There. I've been lurking for awhile after finding you all on google. I just registered today, and wanted to post a little intro.
I'm Heather, I am 21 and almost finished with college and for about a month now I've been dating a great guy, 23 stationed out in twentynine palms. He's currently in some pre-deployment training and scheduled to deploy for about 7 months in early september.
We met online, and it was just one of those things where we felt instantly connected. We'll get some more face to face time just before he leaves, but now I settle for late night convos. He just went before the promotion board, and everything went well. I am so proud of him.
I'm not exactly new to the military life, but this will surely be a new experience.
There is so much more that I could say, but for now, I just look forward to getting to know all of you!!
