Also- how do you like it out there?
And is anyone interested in a gym buddy? I've gained about 20lbs in the last year and I'm feeling fat and frumpy- I need a gym buddy. I hate going alone.

aww! well i'll go ahead and tell you that from what i've seen.. it's not much. my guy lives out in copperas cove tho which is 15 mins away from ft hood. most of the things are in killeen or you can go out to austin once in a while for entertainment which is i think an hr away. neways, good luck!

I'll be in Ft. Hood in November if you can wait that long! I don't know a lot about it, but my DF loves it there. And it's not too far from home for us (about four hours).

I'm here at Fort Hood. I'd love a gym buddy. I just went and looked around at one of the gyms on post today. Personally I like it here.

Well you already know I'm here and what I think. I won't be gym ready til prob end of the yr but I'll def need a buddy or two to keep my butt motivated!

Awesome- I'm glad yas are at Hood! I hear mixed reviews about it, but dh loves love loves Killeen so he says it's going to be fine.
How in the world do you handle the heat??
