ok i have no idea what to put in a care package. this would be my first time sending one. what do u usually put in there? what can u put in there? and i wanna add a few special touches for like his birthday...and holidays and stuff...but again i aint sure what i can put in there.

my DB is really alusive to what he wants in his care package and I am still a little stumped on what to give him also...

I bought some candy that, mike n ikes and other things that i hear won't melt, and his favorite deoderate that they don't sell on base. I also put smokes, a picture of us, but that what i have thought so far...

One thing i'm doing that i think is cute is me and my 7 year old neice are going to make cards for him to put in the box. I thought that was a good idea and a personal touch.

I know when my db was deployed and i sent him packages I always sent him new shampoo, deoderant, soap, starchetc ( all the necessaties, just make sure you put them in zip lock bags incase they bust) I also sent him some of his fave foods ( ravioli and snack cakes) Other then that i'd send him things like magazines, books, dvds cds, pictures

ok ill see what i can do. its really hard when u ask him what he wants and he says nothing cuz his family sends him everythig. but its like ya know im gonna be part of ur family and i wanna do something special too. like in 2 weeks is our anniversary, the end of this week is his birthday, and its confusing as hell lol. but yeah ill think ill do some of those ideas. but can they get a package while on mission?

I'd say things that remind him of you - photos, mixed music cd, cookies or treats that you know he likes, letters and cards... I've set a mini digital picture frame with some pictures loaded on it, his fav cashews, a silly teddy, post cards and letters, a box of all the flavors of jelly bean...
