I've been talking to my bro who's on the Big E, and he's being saying how miserable it is, and how low morale is, and i just want to say i hope we can all seend positive thoughts their way! oh wow! I had no clue the enterprise was so huge! My prayers will be with them. I hope their spirits perk up soon :)

I actually got to go on an 8-day tiger cruise on the enterprise last year, and it can house 5,000 people indeed, and most of the living quarters do actually have AC :) it was quite an adventure!

My SO has been saying the same thing. This is his 3rd cruise and he is miserable. He said it's never been so bad before. I don't know if it's just the heat or what. I always send him packages (every 1-2 weeks) and cards all the time amoung our daily emails.

Luckily we are already a month and half into it and not much more to go in the grand scheme of things!!!

I am working on my 3rd package now. It's movied themed with DVD's (Best Buy has them for $4.99) and movie theatre candy and popcorn. I am going to decorate with fake movie tickets and movied themed stickers. Anything to cheer him up!!!!!!

Yeah it would be nice if they all actually work :no but dh is sleeping with no a/c, a mini fan and about 20+ other.

i guess it's hard to have good morale when they're working 16-28 hours straight, with just 4 hours in between.. yeh.. alot of them work alot of hours. not much time for fun. or morale. haha.. but that is a great idea..

I just sent my boyfriend's box out with a bunch of dvds and candy in it. Lol... we must have been thinking alike. I'm going to hit Best Buy for that sale though! Thanks for sharing about that. I am starting on my 3rd package as well, I just sent the second one out a day ago.
I hope our boys cheer up soon.
