when he leaves is that I have to take him to the airport and watch him go:tears:tears I really can not bring myself to not be sad even though I keep tellin myself that its only 3 weeks and he is coming back:sadeyes I really don't think I am prepared for this I don't know what to tell our son:whatever:(

Hang in there hun!!! The weeks will fly by and he'll be back befor eyou know it! The airport is always the hardest0I try not to stand there and bawl my friggin eyes out, because I know it really upsets him. So I'll make it outta sight before I get hysterical:P But I'm usually in the airport(or parking lot) for AT LEAST an hour or so because I'm crying too hard to drive.

It'll be okay honey! Just keep yourself really busy and three weeks will be over before you know it!! :cheerup

3 weeks will be over in no time. Just tell your son where he's going, only put it in kid terms. Like, my husband is at basic training right now and has been gone for 2 months (only 3 weeks left...yay!) anyway...we told our daughter for a couple weeks befor he left that he was leaving to go to "army school" since she doesn't know what training means...and every morning she wakes me up to tell me that "daddy is bye bye at Army school" and she says "it ok mommy, daddy come back, it ok" it's so cute... the kids really do better at it than we do. it amazes me. anyway...sorry so long... just thought my story might help. Just hang in there, i got 3 more weeks too so I'm right along there with you. :)
