So, it looks like I'm gonna miss his homecoming. :sadeyes And I'll be dealing with the same time crunch I was thinking of before.

I was so afraid he'd come home too late, and I'd be in school already. I had no idea that he'd get home early enough to cause problems on the other end.

I'm gonna try to talk to my roommate and new landlords and see if there's any way for us to move earlier, but I really don't think that's gonna happen, 'cos we already put down our payment to move in on a certain date, and I think that has it pretty locked in.

The worst part? Flights are cheaper and quicker for when he's actually coming home than when I thought he was originally. lol. Meh.

Yeah, so that's the official update, I suppose. Wish me some sort of karmic luck to pull this together somehow, 'cos I'm just really frustrated by it/everything right now.

wow that is exciting!! frustrating though because of the move in thing. could you possibly just move in after he gets home so you can go to his homecoming? if your roommates were cool with it, i'd try to go to the homecoming and move in right when after i get back? just a thought, either way it's great he's at least coming home earlier then you thought that's always great news!! :hula

The best part of moving in with my best gf... She completely understands about me and DB and how crazy this all makes me, so I'm sure she'll be cool with one way or another. It's just figuring out what to do with all my stuff and whatnot - I'm moving about 600miles, so I can't just fly back and move all my stuff at once KWIM?

I'm also considering trying to con him into coming here to help me move for a day or so, then going back with him. But I dunno about that. Might just force my friends to move me. I'll be packed up, so no big. ;)

Well, I've decided that I don't care. Moving into my apartment isn't as important as seeing him. So, I'll let him tell me when he wants me there, and I'll sort everything else out around that. I know my roommate, I don't have other obligations, I'll move in when I damn well please. LOL. (Though, I will call her tonight and get her opinion.)

I'm gonna relax and hope it takes care of itself. I think it will. I'm just not gonna let it not take care of itself!
