I know on this base you can have either two dogs or two cats or one of each...Do most bases have this same rule or are you allowed more?

There is only 2 housing areas here in sandiego that allow you to have a dog. A couple allow cats but for the most part the housing here doesn't allow cats/dogs

Some housing here wont let you have 2 dogs but you can have a dog and cat or 2 cats.

Two mammals is usually the rule I've found. But it depends. Some housing areas have different rules even on the same base.

For the 2 bases we have been to you are allowed either 2 dogs or 2 cats to 1 of each. Here at Bangor, you aren't allowed to have a dog in an upstairs unit in the pet housing. We also have a housing area that is NO pets at all. We have 2 dogs.

Yup, here on Bangor it depends on where you are if you're allowed to have pets

We live on Bangor and you can have a dog upstairs but it has to be under 25 pounds i think...I was just curious cause we have a dog already and in a few months we were debating about getting another one..Thanks!

They must have changed the rule since we moved in (before PPV took over). When we moved here we only had 1 dog which was only 5lbs and they told us still no dogs upstairs. My friend moved in about 6 months ago ( next unit over ) and they told her she could only have her cats upstairs. ( which is why i thought it was still the same rule :dunno ) Your best bet would be to call American Eagle and ask them just to make sure. :)

I live downstairs and I have a dog already...I was just asking this question to see what its like in other areas, so that we dont get another dog and then not be able to move with him...

I'm not 100% on this but I think our housing lets you have 3 or 4 cats or dogs

You can have 2 pets at Murphy Canyon, Admiral Hartman, Chesterton (E-6 and Up), Silver Strand I, I believe parts of Miramar, Vista Ridge, and Pomerado allows dogs up to 25lbs. Bayview allows cats. This is all on the website.

In Hawaii your allowed to have 2 pets. I have seen some that have more than 2 but housing doesn't say anything to you.
