This story has literally haunted me for over 2 months. I saw this family on Oprah and CANNOT imagine living and going on with life, after experiencing this kind of tragedy. It is totally true and the mother talked about her experience on Oprah. Both of their little girls were flower girls at a wedding that day and on Oprah they kept showing video of the girls all dressed up. Stories like these make me feel so fortunate to have never experienced anything like this and I hope I NEVER do:sadeyes

It's the story of a family who was hit by a drunk driver. They were in a limo (after a wedding) and the drunk driver was in a pick-up. He was 3 times the legal limit and hit them head on. The limo driver was killed. The little girl, 7 years old, was decapitated and her mother sat on the side of the road holding her baby's head in her arms. What more is there to say..........

That makes me physically ill...

As I watched the video my 19 month old was dancing to the music and it just made me break down!! :tears I cant imagine the pain that family is going through!! God bless them!!

That is very sad. Heartbreaking!

Meghann told me about that show. She said the parents have another child(ren) and they say since this one child was killed they have no reason to live any more. I think its so sad for them to have to deal with that but even sadder that they are doing that to the children left surviving. How awful it must be to know their parents don't want to live for them.

Omg that is so sad and scary to even think about. I have a 3 year old and I couldn't imagine losing him before I go. Let alone for him to die that way. Or for the other children that survived that crash to have to feel like their parents don't care about them enough to go on living when they are still alive just even though they did lose a child.
