okay my DF is not diployed right now, he's in norfolk, but i find myself wanting to send him something from home because i feel so bad , he'll call me sometimes in tears (:wowsers) because he's feeling really really homesick right now it being only his first year he's still trying to adjust to being far away from his home and everyone he loves and it brakes my heart :heartbreaker hearing him cry, so i thaught id send him a care package of things from home to help with the home sickness, but im not sure what to put in it and what there allowed to get (i know the basics of no pornographic material, alcahol, ect) so any help would be appricated. :gaah

I'm not sure exactly but what about a sheet set and or blanket from home and some of your perfume/lotion/bodywash or whatever. Small scrapbooks are great as well. Sorry, I'm lacking ideas right now. Is he just stationed in Norfolk or is he heading out on deployment? So many boys have been shipping out from here lately....

send him some of his favorite non perishable foods that are local to where he is from.. for instance dh loves those mexican candies so i find those and send them.. go to the store and get some postcards with local scenery on them.. Take pics of special places or his favorite places.

he is on the san antonio its home port is norfolk he has a diployment comeing up but its not a long one couple of weeks for some testing and stuff on the ship
