Jennygirl 08-18-2007, 02:03 PM Ok, I am having pains on my tummy, right above my belly button...the baby isnt moving or kicking but it hurts like a son of a b*tch. Any ideas, does it happen? Kaymara 08-18-2007, 02:03 PM My belly button area got bruised as my belly button popped out. What kinda pain is it? IS there any brusing there? If your belly button is popping it gets sensitive. Put a bandaid over it can help some Jennygirl 08-18-2007, 02:05 PM Nope no brusing, its above my bely button to the right...Its making it somewhat harder to breath and its a pulling and turning pain and if i touch the area its killer pain. Kaymara 08-18-2007, 02:06 PM Nope no brusing, its above my bely button to the right...Its making it somewhat harder to breath and its a pulling and turning pain and if i touch the area its killer pain. It can be the baby pushing out. If it is that bad I would call and ask tho. Any unexplained pains should be reported asap Jennygirl 08-18-2007, 02:07 PM so do they do that sometimes push against your tummy and it leaves a sore spot? Kaymara 08-18-2007, 02:09 PM so do they do that sometimes push against your tummy and it leaves a sore spot? Shoot yes. They can bruise you, fracture ribs etc. A friend of mine had 2 fractured ribs from her baby kicking :lol And Ashley left me a bruise around my belly button. It was popping out and sensitive and she kept kicking there. I brought it up and he told me it was probably combined and she wasnt allowing it to heal Jennygirl 08-18-2007, 02:11 PM I think you should go to school to be a midwife, honestly Kaymara 08-18-2007, 02:12 PM I think you should go to school to be a midwife, honestly :teehee thanks. LOL Casey 08-18-2007, 02:44 PM I used to get a pinchy, tugging, twisting kind of feeling right around my belly button too. Mine came and went all through out my 3rd trimester. It bothered me, but never to a point where I ever asked my doc about it :dunno I just figured it was normal. I mean I was soooo bruised from the inside out, I just thought it was her new favorite punching spot in there :giggle If it bothers you too much, then talk to your doc at your next appt. You should have one at like what 32 weeks right? (if I remember correctly, that was when they were seeing me every two weeks :dunno) Jennygirl 08-18-2007, 02:45 PM I always tell DH i get to be the one to embarass and torment the kid LOL not him!!
