I will have a big welcome home sign on the house with balloons and we will also have signs we will be holding. CoffeeGirl 08-18-2007, 09:24 PM You also see alot of Welcome home Babe or welcome home sweetheart too:yes USNFFG52 08-18-2007, 09:37 PM I have a 6ft wide by 2-3ft tall banner I am hanging on the outside of the house that has an american flag in the background that looks like its waving in the breeze with the words " welcome home baby!!!" on it. It only cost about 40 bucks from shindigz.com JoyS 08-18-2007, 09:43 PM The one going on the garage says Daddy as does the one on the front door. The one going with us says RATE/ last name in red... hoping he'll spot us easier. The car will probably be a mixture :D Yeah I know I am a bit of an extremist :D tifflovezyou 08-18-2007, 09:46 PM :dunno Ive never done this before. Im gonna I guess hang up a "Welcome Home" banner here :dunno :confuzzle USNFFG52 08-18-2007, 09:49 PM Where in the world do you get the paint for the cars, windows that is? I know, off subject. JoyS 08-18-2007, 09:51 PM Where in the world do you get the paint for the cars, windows that is? I know, off subject. craft stores and I think walmart and target have them as well. rcwant2be 08-18-2007, 10:02 PM craft stores and I think walmart and target have them as well. ditto on that. look in the automotive section at walmart. instant_oatmeal 08-19-2007, 01:39 PM I'm not bringing one to the pier cuz I dont want to hold it lol I made one for the garage and it says welcome home joe. I'll probably decorate the car too..we'll see. :) USNFFG52 08-19-2007, 01:45 PM Ok cool I will look at Target for that, I hope it is easy to get off windows. Thats all i need is my wife yelling at me, you dummy now it says this on the window, lol. Ashnbri 08-19-2007, 01:53 PM hmm..I might do the car...not sure if DH will like anything lol. LukesLilTrooper 08-19-2007, 02:13 PM My husband would kill me lol if I had banners and all that. He's one of those people that hates to have unnecessary attention drawn to him lol. navywifetojosh 08-19-2007, 02:16 PM also look at your local dollar trees if you have any around , thats where i got mine a while back. ditto on that. look in the automotive section at walmart. rcwant2be 08-19-2007, 02:29 PM db would KILL me if i did anything to his precious car. i've actually asked him if he wants me to wash it just prior to parking it on base, or if he'd prefer to wash it himself on our way back home. he's soooooooooooooooo attached to it. LittleMsSunshine 08-19-2007, 02:42 PM Ok cool I will look at Target for that, I hope it is easy to get off windows. Thats all i need is my wife yelling at me, you dummy now it says this on the window, lol. LOL... it comes off really easy... the stuff I've used goes on as a liquid, and dries as kind of a chalk. It holds up in rain and everything... but wipes off super easy. All the residue comes off with windex :) I "pimped" my sister's "ride" for her graduation :giggle airyn1 08-19-2007, 03:06 PM I'm not taking a banner to the pier. I'm already going to be juggling 2 kids, I don't need a big piece of paper too. lol. I'm not doing the car either because I'm just gonna take the shuttle over. There is not enough parking anywhere on PSNS to convince me that it won't be hell trying to get out of there. Sos Ninja 08-19-2007, 04:00 PM Ninja suggest, take sign that says, "Me love you long time" :giggle He be very happy :yes Shaky 08-19-2007, 04:47 PM I didn't take any banners with me. I just had an american flag with me that I could easily put in my camera case when needed to. The banner for the house since it was in side the apartment I did put WELCOME HOME AE1(AW) **** WE MISSED YOU!!!! but this time since we have our house I want to put it on the front of the house and I'm not sure how I will address it yet. |
