What do you put? Welcome home...Rate/rank last name? First name? Full name? Daddy? I'm trying to figure out what to put on the one we'll have at the hangar. The one at the house is going to say daddy.

I don't take a sign to the pier but I deorate the car and have a huge banner I put up in the yard that says "Welcome Home Daddy We Missed You" I also put balloons and stuff outside.

my hubby told me he didn't want his name on his...so i'm just putting daddy on one and "my sgt is home <3" on the other one.

My hubby didn't tell me anything that he wanted or didn't want, but I am going to do what I want. I will have a big welcome home sign on the house with balloons and we will also have signs we will be holding.

I have a 6ft wide by 2-3ft tall banner I am hanging on the outside of the house that has an american flag in the background that looks like its waving in the breeze with the words " welcome home baby!!!" on it. It only cost about 40 bucks from shindigz.com

The one going on the garage says Daddy as does the one on the front door. The one going with us says RATE/ last name in red... hoping he'll spot us easier. The car will probably be a mixture :D Yeah I know I am a bit of an extremist :D

My husband would kill me lol if I had banners and all that. He's one of those people that hates to have unnecessary attention drawn to him lol.

db would KILL me if i did anything to his precious car. i've actually asked him if he wants me to wash it just prior to parking it on base, or if he'd prefer to wash it himself on our way back home. he's soooooooooooooooo attached to it.

LOL... it comes off really easy... the stuff I've used goes on as a liquid, and dries as kind of a chalk. It holds up in rain and everything... but wipes off super easy. All the residue comes off with windex :)

I'm not taking a banner to the pier. I'm already going to be juggling 2 kids, I don't need a big piece of paper too. lol. I'm not doing the car either because I'm just gonna take the shuttle over. There is not enough parking anywhere on PSNS to convince me that it won't be hell trying to get out of there.

I didn't take any banners with me. I just had an american flag with me that I could easily put in my camera case when needed to. The banner for the house since it was in side the apartment I did put WELCOME HOME AE1(AW) **** WE MISSED YOU!!!! but this time since we have our house I want to put it on the front of the house and I'm not sure how I will address it yet.
