my DF is leaveing for his first diployment tomarrow, and im alittle scared i know it sounds silly because it only a week long but still i keep freaking myself out and scareing myself that something is going to happen :gaah and im just not real sure what i can do to keep calm and not cry because im worring everyday it feels like the day befor he left for basic traning all over again:hissyfit

Awww.... it'll be ok!!! Think about it this way... you survived basic..... a week-long trip will be a piece of cake.

Also, try not to worry too much. They know what they're doing. I've had similar worries.... but the ladies here reminded me that they know how to do their jobs..... and they wouldn't be out there if they weren't prepared for every scenario under the sun :)

Ohh and you will hear it a million times, but keep busy. Focus on doing things for yourself and the time will pass a lot faster. You will get through this just fine. :D

Thats not quite a deployment, more like underway. But be thankful its only a week honey, and just try to stay positive! I know you cant help but worry, we all do it. Its normal.. :hugs
