ok so I joined Soldiers Angels because right now db is not deployed so I decided to do what I can to help out...the last time i sent care packages was when my best friend was deployed and this was over a year ago.... so any ideas on what to send in care packages? what not to write and what to write in letters? any idea are great! and PS this si a great organization to be a part of:)

books, magazines,candy,movies,cd's, pictures of you and his family. word searches. then stuff they need, soap,deodrant,boxers,socks. stuff like that. :mrgreen

I sent Slinkys and Silly Putty and temporary tattoos.. Toy handcuffs.. Batman bandaids....

some home made stuff, cookies, cakes?

thanks for the idea so far...its hard because its not someone i know any generic ideas for the first care package im hoping he will send me some ideas but if not i need gerneric things also any ideas on how to send cookies and make them last longer?
