What is your ideal pants size?
My Ideal size is around a size 6 or 8 pants size

This is a hard question....it depends on where you buy things really. But if I'm giving an average, I'd say an 8. Not there yet, still working on it.

That is exactly me. I am in a 12 and it really doesn't bother me, but I want to be where I was a few years ago. I must lose this baby weight! lol

Mine is a 3/4. I have a pair of jeans that are a 5/6 I'm trying to get back into right now. I'll be happy with that but I'll keep trying to be back in my 3/4s, too.

When I was very thin I was a size 9 in juniors. I don't think I could get any smaller then that because that was right after boot camp and I had lost all of my booty. I didn't have any extra to lose but I did work on toning it all. So if I could get down to that then I would be SO happy. Although I think my days of wearing juniors are far behind me.

Ugh - you guys are all so frickin tiny. I was a size 6 when I met my dh. Now I'm pushing a 20! Hopefully I can stick to a healthy eating and exercise regime from now on. I just can't get any bigger.

Way back in the day I was a 7. I didn't pay too much attention to my shape, but I think I was a good size. I was a 10 when I moved to Ca a couple yrs ago. I was at 160. My legs were really flabby and I still had some fat to lose, but I looked ok in clothes. I'm not sure what I'd like good at right now since I've had a few kids. As long as I'm fit, it doesn't matter, but I think it might be 7-9.

I want to be back to what I was pre-babies!! A 0! I doubt that will ever happen because my hips will not ever go back to the way they were. Before I got preggo with this baby I was a 4....so I guess Ill take that!

I would love to be the size 12 I was in high school. What's crazy is now I have a ridiculous amount of hips and no matter how much I work out, they won't go away! :mumble So I fluctuate between an 17/18 or 19/20. Totally sucks!

I'd like to see a 4. I'm in 6/8s but I'm trying. I need to lose about 15 lbs. It isn't coming off so I am focusing on eating right and trying to make fitness goals instead. Otherwise I would be so down on myself I would eat myself out of house and home.

Sizing is so arbitrary... there is a lot of variation between stores and even between styles in the same store... just in the store I work at I wear 3 different sizes depending on the style. I also have kinda weird proportions, I have narrow hips but I don't really have a waist so I wear a much smaller size in hiphuggers than I would wear in a higher rise. I can't wear the trendy new high-waisted stuff at all because I have to buy it huge so it fits on my waist and then its way too big in the hips. There's also the whole vanity-sizing thing - try buying a pattern, their sizing has stayed the same since the 40's - my pattern size is about 3-4 sizes bigger than I typically would buy in a store.

I would like to lose the 5 pounds I have gained due to stress over the last school quarter so that my clothes I have now will fit well again. That's my ideal size.

i would like to be in a size 28/29 jeans again. right now i usually wear a 30 or 31 :( and that is usually a size 8 or 10. i guess the thinner side of an 8 or a 6 would make me very happy. nothing smaller then that would really be realistic for me...i was a 28/29 in high school, and i had a good body then!

My ideal body was when I was in the 11th grade at a size 9/10, I was pretty sexy if I do say so myself, but I am pretty curvy so my hips and ass arent goin anywhere, but I'm happy with my 11/12

I'm a 2 right now and have been since Dec/Jan. of 2002/3. My original size pretty much since 8th grade was a 6/7!

Somehow I dropped a bunch of weight (which I didn't need to because I thought I was fine.) A lot of things contributed to it (and believe it or not I was eating and not dieting or taking any supplements etc. at the time which is why it scared me.) :confuzzle At the time Joshua had just left for sea and was gone for T-Giving, X-Mas, his b.day, our 1 year anniversary, New Years, and my b.day. That alone was a first for me and depressing too. :sigh Not only that, I began school by myself at a University (Jacksoville University in Jax, FL) and was scared b.c. I was used to going to a community college back home for 2 years. I had a lot of stress/nerves and planning for my second homecoming. Joshua got back in Jan. and he thought I looked great though. :)

Since shore duty the size 2's are feeling a little snug so I know I've gained a bit in my hips/thighs/butt area & want to get back to my exercising more. I've slacked off since we got on shore duty...not a lot of motivation here now. But I'm at my ideal size. Just want to tone a bit.
