Smoking meat is my favorite method of cooking - fire up the smoker, throw on the meat, check the temp gauge once an hour, maybe add in some new coals - and hours later, perfect, super tender, work-free, delicious meat to die for.
I haven't used the stove other than to heat up beans and sauces, and to cook corndogs in years.
I, of course, like grilling - what I do when we're short on time - and certain foods just don't smoke well, and vise versa.
I smoke all large portions of meat - ribs and steaks (if we have the time)
i grill the classics - steaks, hamburgers, hotdogs, shish kabobs.
Anyone else prefer this over anything else?
