:cp Gwen is over a year (turned 1 Dec 31st), but we couldn't turn the carseat around until Tuesday! :cp She was under the weight and height for it to be turned until just now. It was the funniest thing too! :hehe She kinda looked at us like, "wtf is this?" Then she was happy and dancing in her seat! Aiden's pretty happy becasue now they can watch DVDs together in the car! :lmao

I thought they only had to weigh 20 lbs to turn it around? I think we're going to be putting Shelby in the rear facing covertable seat soon b/c she is getting waaay too big for the infant carrier. Her legs hang out at the end and are scrunched against the seat when she is facing backwards :hehe

Nevermind. I just read that it's rear until they are 1. I forgot :hehe

We just turned Taylor around too. I was a little hesitant to do it since she is so small, but she's well over a year, and around 22 pounds. She likes it a lot better now though! :lol

Shelby must just be big then because she's already over 20 lbs lbs. :neutral I probably need to look into getting a new seat though. Jaxon's old Eddie Bauer one is shot to hell. :nutts

Brandi... I got a warning for having George in his infant seat on New Years eve. The cop got out his tape measure, and measured how far his head was from the top... and how far his feet stuck out the bottom. It was a normal NYE check point, but I was given 30 days to purchase a new carseat, and go to the health department to have them check the installation and sign off on it. George is 31 inches long and 25 lbs. His head was 1/2 inch below the top of the seat, and his feet, when extended stuck out 2 inches.

OK, its definitely time for me to move her out then. I was hesitant because she isn't quite 8 months yet and that seems young. But she is about 22-23 lbs and about 30 inches. So, I guess I will be doing that this weekend sometime. I have Jaxon's eddie bauer one which is not OLD, but I dunno if I should reuse it with her since the damn fabric is coming undone and it looks like crud.. I'll have to go out and look at it or just go get a new one. Thanks for the warning.

Bradley already had to get moved to a rear-facing convertible since he is 29 inches and 18 1/2 pounds!!!! :inshock He's been in it over a month now!! And he is onl 6 months old. But YEAH to Gwen!

hayden is already too big for his infant carrier... well he's still barely under the weight limit for our seat but over the height limit by half an inch. i bought him a new seat last week but have to install it.

i love it when they are old enough and big enough to turn around!

Forward facing says ALL of these requirements(just so everyone knows)
1 yr old
21lbs and/or 31 inches

Gwen is only 30 inches, but she just hit 21 lbs. She is also over a year.

Brandi- Aiden was moved into a rear-facing convertable seat at 5 months!! He was a HUGE baby!
