No they were to expensive. Same with the Jansport, it sucked to be poor. Although I saw how much Jansport back packs cost & no way will I pay that now that I buy my own school gear. No way will my kids have it either.

Why would you buy your kid a folder with speakers. You can't use that at school & I completely think that you should not have ipods at school.

Trapper Keepers Rocked! I loved lisa frank stuff, and DD does now too! We were poor so I never had a jansport.. I had the walmart version... still just as cool cause I had iron-ons and buttons with funny sayings all over it!

DS has a Trapper Keeper for school this year! :wub No Jansport, though! I refuse to buy him anything more expensive than his $15 Children's Place one! :giggle

DH does have a Jansport, though! That is what he uses all the time. He even uses it as his carry on when he flies.
