sorry i haven't been on in a while. I just moved in and my internet is not working. It's so bad that I have to get someone to come fix it because I have no idea what to do myself. But I'm kinda worried (still), DB said he'd call after his mission which ended two days ago. I wasn't thinking anything of it until his mom mentioned something about 14 more soldiers being killed near Baghdad (where db is close to and would have been on his mission) and also that no one had heard anything from him. I know the whole "no new is good news" but still I can't help but worry about him. And yesterday I was having a really good time with some of my friends and I started to feel really guilty about it. Does anyone else ever feel guilty because you're having a good time and your SO is overseas?? I just want him to call so I know that he's okay and for once I want to hear him tell me that I'm just overreacting :sadeyes

Awww hun, dont feel bad for enjoying yourself. I seriously dont think your DB would want you sitting around the house depressing about having fun. As long as its not bad fun, your good.
As for not hearing from him, you will. It just seems like we wait and worry to wait and worry, then they call or email. Just be strong and hang in there. Something probably came up, or hes resting after his mission. His internet access might be messed up or anything, you never know. But im sure hes fine, and yes no news is good news.

I know it is hard but try not to worry. And you are right about the no news. If, God forbid, something happened to him, his parents would have already been notified. If he was going on a mission, then maybe, as shitty as it would be, they lost someone. If that's the case they shut all communications down until all families are reached. He wouldn't have access to a phone or computer.
Don't worry, he is fine!

now I'm really freaking out! He definitely was supposed to be where the chopper went down and apparently me and his mom were wrong and they do take choppers fairly often on their missions!! :tears :tears :tears Oh god! He has to be okay. He just has to!

I'm sure he is okay.
