View Full Version : your SO's talents jlbecker 08-24-2007, 07:17 PM So what can your SO do that sets him/her apart from the crowd?... and that's not x-rated :giggle Wicked 08-24-2007, 07:24 PM He is a human computer. Not just a dime a dozen computer guy, he really understands computers and programming like a second language, and has since he was a little kid. He has been building computers since he was 7 and programming since he was 11. He's also a certified genius. Of course, being so smart leaves a little to be desired in the social skills department at times, but it does set him apart! LOL. He is an expert marksman. That is something he is proud of because when he started basic he "couldn't hit a barn with a baseball from point blank" according to his DS. LOL. When he graduated he was best in his unit. He can turn ANYTHING into a pun. I kid you not... ANYTHING. :lmao misskathee 08-24-2007, 07:28 PM he can play the guitar :hot &he's pretty street smart HEIDI 08-24-2007, 07:32 PM He is a good artist, he has done some beautiful sketches. He knows when to speak up, when to poke fun, and when to keep his mouth shut. The cool part about it is that he can tell me when I need to stick a sock in it.. And the next day, it always turns out that he was right.. He also has a severe learning disability, he can't really write or spell.. He spells everything phonetically like the word "special" would be written by him as "speshal"... Legs=lags, sure=shere, states=stats, beautiful=budafal... Yup, I'm budafal.. :teehee that's me.... It's almost like learning a second language when you read the things that he writes. But he graduated in the top 5% of his NCO class, he's absolutely brilliant when it comes to anything except spelling.... I was at an armory about a year ago, and overheard a newly returned soldier taking to his commander.. He was talking about a Russian tank on the base in Iraq that had been out of comission for 20 years.. They wanted to move it, but no one new how to fix a Russian tank.. He talked about a huge ox of a man who started working on it, and had it running by the end of the day... Then he said, "Look at the picture I took of him." I asked if I could see, and it was my husband.. :wub jlbecker 08-24-2007, 08:17 PM he can play guitar and piano like no one i've ever heard. he had mastered the masters in his youth and composed his own brilliant work by 16. he is also a wonderful writer & generally great with words. leftover 08-24-2007, 08:24 PM he can play guitar and piano like no one i've ever heard. he had mastered the masters in his youth and composed his own brilliant work by 16. he is also a wonderful writer & generally great with words. She has the uncanny ability of knowing what I am going to say and says it before I can. She is smart, even outclassed me in college which I can take some credit because I pushed her to do good. She is artistic and she never even knew that until we went to college together and got our graphic design degrees and she has such and eye for good print design whereas I am better at web design. She can fix a car side by side with me and diagnose the problems too.
