to JEN!
For those of you that don't know, we've been without housing here at our new duty station. We've had to wait about a month for our new place and staying in the lodge was hard on our pockets as well as the kids.
So Jen (Jenifer/Rockstarmom) verrrry selflessly opened her home to me, my husband and our three children, for more than 3 weeks. She has three children of her own and a deployed husband, she's completely rearranged her house, her schedule, the kids routines and everything else. She's been very patient and understanding with my kids who are also out of their element. It's been VERY rough at times.... living with 9 people under one roof, including 6 kids that are 6 years old and under, plus my grumpy husband who is going through his CPO initiation :nutts It has been challenging for all of us at times but she has been such an amazing friend to do this for us and I have to show my thanks to her for being such a true friend. I don't know many people who would open their home to us in this way so she has my deepest thanks. Without this site, I would have never met her. So, I felt that this post belongs in this forum and she deserves to be thanked publicly for her kindness.
WE made it! Just three more nights! It's been crazy but we made it without killing ourselves, our kids or my husband :lol
