We've been together since the beginning of 2001, thank goodness... otherwise this might be a newlywed's nightmare. We can handle it though. ;)
July: My guy moved down from Virginia (where he was in school, then stashed at the ROTC unit there) to my South Carolina apartment. Then we got married and went to Tybee Island, GA for our honeymoon. We came back and packed up everything.
August: We moved to Pensacola, Florida because he got accepted to flight school. I already had a job lined up. :tu He is the FASTEST EVER class-up I think, because within three weeks, he had all the physical/dental/paperwork stuff done (and he was already IFS complete because he's a private pilot) and classed up. He starts Monday.
October: He will finish ground school. We will probably move to Milton to be closer to Whiting Field (he has follow-on orders), because it's a 45 minute drive to WF from where we are.
Probably before next summer: He will finish Primary and we will hopefully move again (I don't think he particularly wants helos).
That's four moves for him, three for me... all within the first year of our marriage. :no So... home is where the Navy sends you.
Aviation girls, about how long should we expect to be wherever we are for Advanced? Or does it vary from place to place?
I'm kind of hoping when we DO get to settle down for a few years, we find a nice house to do it in. With a freaking huge kitchen, preferably.
