I'm still debating... its due tomorrow right now pt 2 has a bp of 230/100 when I left the hospital earlier... but pt 1 is puking his brains out and hasn't ate in 3 days... plus yesterday he became unresponsive and needed narcan

Now I dont know if i answered your question right. pt 2 needs that bp to go down. but something is really wrong with #2. are you in clinicals and is these your only 2 pts? Interesting.

Yeah since we just started class again after summer break they're "weening" us back into multiple pts.. next week I have a full load of pts. Yeah she was fine but now we can't get her bp to go down.. and he was fine but then yesterday he was non responsive and after a sternal rub didn't work we ended up having to give him narcan....

We're up on 6RP... yuck. I'm not a big fan of renal disease lol. I wanted to be on 6K but I couldn't convince my teacher to switch me. Do you still work in one of the local hospitals??

yes. I work at Chesapeake Gen I like it so far. i like the tape record reports so I can leave as soon as i know they other nurse is there and I wont have to give reports to 3 seperate people. when you look for a job dont do Maryview unless you are going to the new harbor view. just a word of advice. spread the word. but the big hospitals (sentera) they do alot of continuing ed and I used to complain but I miss it. I am learning nothing new in these small hospitals. always learn what ever you can.
