I'd like to know if anyone can help us with baby sitting the day of Jason's pinning, Sept 21st. I think the pinning is around 10am so we'll need to leave at around 9am. Should be back by around 1pm at the latest. I don't know exactly how long all of that would take but 9am-1pm is the longest we should take. So, 4 hours tops. The kids normally go down for naps by around 11:30 so you'd probably only technically have them awake for 2 hours or so. We also have a big backyard that they'll be fine to play in for the majority of that time. So, your job should be pretty easy :giggle

Ideally, I'd like someone to come to our place just for the ease of putting them down for naps and such, since Hunter is still in a crib. But it's not a must, if you'd feel more comfortable in your house.

This is pretty important to us so I wouldn't mind paying $50-$75 for your time. I just need someone who is absolutely dependable. I can't have someone cancel on me last minute.

If you have any questions, let me know.

I hope you find someone Brandi! Camryn is going with us.. DH has her on the list as pinning him with me, but we'll see how it goes. My inlaws will be there, so they can always keep her occupied...

If my mom were here, I'd consider taking them. However, they are 4 years old and under so I think their interest in the ceremony will be VERY minimal and they'll probably only end up crying and causing a scene. I'd rather just keep them home and be able to enjoy the big moment without all of the fit throwing and such. It'd be miserable trying to wrangle the three of them especially around nap time and during a formal ceremony like that :nutts

Just wanted to make sure that you can still do it, I'm getting nervous now that it's getting closer... we've never had a "Real" baby sitter before... just my mom or another family member. :lol I should leave here by 9am and be back by around 1ish. That's $12.50 an hour and they should be asleep for around 2 of the 4 hours.

If for some reason you need a back up for friday...let me know. I can do it, but I would have to leave by 1:40 at the latest to be able to pick up ds from school. I can give you my phone number if you pm me.

Well, the ceremony is at 10am and should not last more than about an hour to an hour and a half. So, we should DEFINITELY be done by noon. And it's just down by the base, so we'd definitely be back at one. 1 is a late estimate b/c Jason was saying that if it takes only and hour or, he was wanting to stop and get some lunch somewhere, but my mom will be here the following week and we can do a lunch together another day if we're pressed for time on Friday.

I definitely appreciate your offer and will let you know if I need to take you up on it!

No, that wouldn't be a problem at all! Would you like to come here or would you rather us drop them at your house? The main reason why I suggested here is because Hunter (my hunter) gets pretty cranky at around 10-11 and will want a nap. He normally naps for about 2 hours, sometimes longer. Shelby also normally lays down at around 11:30 for around 2 or 2 1/2 hours. So, I figured it would be easier and less stressful to have them here. Really though, it's up to you and where you'd be more comfortable. Thank you so much for the offer though, I really appreciate it!

I don't have a problem at all watching them at your house. I agree that it would be easier on Hunter and Shelby to have their own beds for nap time. Just let me know what time to be there! :D

That's really generous pay! Considering their only going to be awake for about 2 hrs and their in their own home. I know how important it is to you though. If I was there, I'd do it for free!

If you're here at 9, that would be great. I will leave between 9 and 9:15ish. So, if you're here by 9, I can brief you on everything like nap times, food, etc. The ceremony is at 10 and should last probably an hour and a half or so. So, we should be back no later than 1. But I'm sure I'll be able to call you and let you know the details!

Thank you sooooo much for this. This is such a huge thing and I am sooooo nervous about everything and this is the first sitter we have ever had, so I'm freaking :lol I appreciate your help soo much though.

When they are awake, they can be a handful. Jaxon is on the hyper side, Shelby is a little trouble maker/instigator and Hunter can get into his fussy fits. So, $50 is actually on the lower side of what I'd normally pay. If we weren't so broke from all of the move and CPO crap, I'd love to pay $75 or so. I know my kids can be little busy bodies so I wouldn't want anyone doing it for free :lol They are SWEET kids, but they are a definite handful! Luckily though, they do like to sleep. So, they all take good 2 to 3 hour naps most days and I can usually get them all down around the same time, which is nice!
