:happydance I am so excited about how many people are interested in adopting a soldier! Due to the overwhelming demand I figured I would repost with the info so everyone could sign up if theyd like. To get started go to www.soldiersangels.com and apply. They call just to get your info and go over things. It requires one letter/card a week and a package a month...not too big of a commitment ;) considering how many we write to our SOs I'm sure :giggle . Thanks for the interest everyone! And a HUGE thank you to kayenchanted for initially giving the info!

I tried it a long time ago only to find out the person I was given returned home 3 weeks before I received his name when I tried to get another person I never got the information. I guess it is time to try again. :)

It's always going, I did it in 2004. You can also go to anysoldier.com (marines, sailors, and airforce as well) and it gives you profiles of units that have their addresses where you can send cards, letters or care packages to them. I've been doing it since 2005 and I absolutely love helping them out over there.

The soldier/sailor/airman must be signed up for this. if your DH is not signed up then no he will not be receiving anything through that organization. Now the military member can be signed up by themselves, by their command, or by a loved one at home.
