ok.. question..

Dh is going to check out of his command around the begining of March. He will have to go to a school for 2 wks.. and then he goes on leave for a month.. so he checks in to his new command in the middle of April.

My question. Where we be getting BAH from during this pcs time before he checks into his new command? Where his old command will be.. which is Hawaii, or his new command.. which is San diego.

Hawaii, my friend. :D UNTIL he checks into the San Diego command, he will be receiving BAH from the previous duty station.

We experienced a similar situation. We left Hawaii on April 20th. Bryan went to the Naval Science Institute(NSI) in Rhode Island. He reported on May 20th, and graduated from there on July 20th. He then reported at NROTC Hampton Roads on August 1st. So from April 20th until August 1st, we were still entitled to and received Hawaii BAH. :)
