And I'm scared I won't be able to go! The plan is that wherever he goes (hopefully Washington) I will just get an apartment there and he will try and stay with me as much as he can. But there is a fear that he will end up getting stationed in Japan. And there is no way I could go there because we aren't married...

But if worst case scenario he does go somewhere that sucks....is there any way that between him getting his orders and actually leaving if we got married would that change anything? or do you have to get married before his orders come in... i'm just really confused with all of this...

and another thing...we've been having problems because he works so much and doesn't have time to deal with looking to buy the new car--talking to insurance people etc. etc... and they don't want to talk to me cause we aren't married!!! Ahh!! how am I going to take care of stuff for him when he's gone!! Please help!! I'm going to go crazy!!

I feel so anxious to see his orders and if my life is over for the next 4 years or not:tired

If you get married it won't change his orders either way, it just means you aload to go with him.

Last check you had to be married to him thirty days prior to him getting written orders for them to pay for you to move and depending on the location of his orders, you'd need that as well. If his orders come in and he's not married, they say unaccompanied.

On the topic of Japan, if he thinks he could end up there I wouldn't be buying a new car right now. Some finance companies won't let you move your cars overseas, some countries won't take your cars without modifications. Just FYI.
