I pretty much threw this together tonight because I was in a pinch without several things I needed for most dishes I usually prepare. It was based on a recipe card but modified a little. It turned out REALLY good!

ingredients:

1 can petite diced tomatoes
1 can tomato sauce
1 1/2 lbs ground beef (or you can do turkey or a combo of both)
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
1/4 tsp ground black pepper
2 tbsp chili powder
1/2 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 onion diced or minced
1 box of elbow macaroni or other pasta of your choice

Brown ground beef and onions together. When finished, drain off grease and mix into crockpot with all other ingredients EXCEPT pasta. Cook on low for about 4 hours or high for about 2 hours.

Cook pasta in large pot of lightly salted water. When pasta is finished cooking, drain water, then add pasta to crockpot with other ingredients. Cook on on low or high in crockpot for another hour or so.

When finished, you can stir in cheese if you want to. I added some cheddar and it was really good :hungry

Try throwing a bottle of beer into the sauce...don't worry, the alcohol burns off, or you can use non alcohol.
I do a similar recipe, but I use a bottle of beer, bottle of ketchup, few pounds of ground beef, throw in garlic powder, assorted other spices, and simmer for an hour. The beef cooks, and the sauce is incredible!!!!
