it was the "Otay Lakes" area, I think? Hubby had a carwash off of the otay lakes road and that area is soooooooooooooooooooooooooo nice. My gosh! :eek That is NOT what I expected Chula Vista to be like after I've heard people talking about it. I've heard so much bad about the area but that whole entire area for miles and miles down that road was soooooooooooo incredible! It was absolutely beautiful!

Yes that place is very nice. just think 10 years ago all that wasnt even there. Now it is high priced homes and a new community. I wonder did they build that college or university they were talking about. I have been away from home for 7 years now and miss it. :depressed

Nope not yet. I *think* it's still in talks. They NEED something! Southwestern has become overcrowded for YEARS!

Yeah didnt like going to that school. It is amazing how close to the boarder the communities has gotten. last time i was there was about 2 years ago. Nieces grad from terriasanta h.s. out there and I have a friend in eastlake. my mouth fell open. I cant wait to see how much more development they have done.

Oh you will be SHOCKED as to how much has been developed!!! I remember about 7 years ago when Otay & Telegraph were OPEN fields w/o a house in sight!

Yep, he was washing cars! We went in the early morning so the kids could help with drying them :P but then it got pretty hot so we left.

Cool... DH and his group haven't done the carwash thing for 2 weekends now.. I'm not sure if they will next weekend or not, but if so, they'll most likely be in your neighborhood! Their "spot" is the Armed Forces YMCA parking lot.. lol

You had to drive right past my house to get down there..Lofgren Terrace is at the corner of Otay Lakes and Telegraph Canyon. So if he's washing cars next weekend and you guys head down here, you can always bring the kiddos over to play... or we can meet up at Otay Ranch Town Center (mall).
