A Trough Of Low Pressure Moving Through The Pacific Northwest On Tuesday And The Great Basin Wednesday Is Expected To Bring A Cooling And Drying Trend Tuesday And Wednesday With Around 10 Degrees Of Cooling For The Warmest Areas On Tuesday And An Additional 5 Degrees Of Cooling Wednesday. This Will Return Temperatures Closer To Seasonal Levels.

It Will Remain Hot And Humid Today With High Temperatures Above 95 In The Mesas And Southern Coastal Areas Inland From The Beaches With Heat Indices Above 100.
An Excessive Heat Warning Means That A Prolonged Period Of Dangerously Hot Temperatures Will Occur. The Combination Of Hot Temperatures And High Humidity Will Combine To Create A Dangerous Situation In Which Heat Illnesses Are Likely. Drink Plenty Of Fluids... Stay In An Air-Conditioned Room... Stay Out Of The Sun... And Check Up On Relatives And Neighbors. Never Leave People Or Pets In Enclosed Vehicles.
