do you believe in karma? do you believe things you've done wrong in your past (this life or past lives or whatever) will come back at you and vice versa, that the past good will repay you?

I believe that Karma is one of several different factors in determining what goes on in a person's life... Since don't believe that it is the end-all, and be-all that so many people seem to make it out to be, I selected "Other."

Perhaps the most popular story that relates how I feel is that of Job in the Bible. (Yes, a non-Christian quoting the Bible... will the world end now? ;) ) The Bible makes it very clear that Job did not do anything wrong... yet he suffered more than most people of his time. If Karma was the only factor in how well your life goes, then Job would have been a king.

So, I do believe in Karma... but with massive reservations.

I don't believe in a spiritual or magical force that punishes people who do bad things with three times as much hardship as they cause. That's what kharma is.

I do believe that when you do bad things eventually it will come back and bite you in the ass, but it is a cause and effect thing, not a kharma thing. You can only fuck with people so much before someone is gonna see you for the asshole you are and fuck you up. :yes

I was reading up on karma the other night. Apparently karma comes around in your next life. Like you get the good or bad that is coming to you in your next lifetime.

:yes That's what I believe as well but I also believe that this time around is the time of instant Karma. Which pretty much means that you will get your karma during THIS lifetime not the next. :)
