If its medically necessary or makes it more enjoyable for the woman...fine but not for vanity or just so your partner can feel like he is with a virgin or because he thinks it "too loose". I am going to quit now because that just makes my blood boil and I am not even sure why at the moment...lol.

I just get so dang irritated hearing people say a woman is loose b/c of the # of partners she's had or b/c she gave birth.

And...to top it off...they are female surgeons!! I am sure that most (for now) are medically necessary and to increase sensation (although I haven't researched this part yet) but there are increasing numbers doing it as a "gift for my husband" as many put it. I guess I am not seeing others' viewpoint because I equate it to mans perverted fantasy of a young virgin (which it may not be the case..lol) which then leads me to think about female genital mutilation (this isn't as harsh but could be compared...maybe not..lol). My mind just runs on a tangent before clearly thinking/researching and I loose my ability to be open minded for a moment.

A segment of that market has always been (more affluent) young women about to be married, who come from the middle east and other corners of the world to have their hymen reconstructed in a country where nobody knows them, so that they can avoid "shaming" their families or getting stoned to death.

It all makes my blood boil.

Its amazing what women in this world are forced/expected/brainwashed to do for the pleasure or pride/ego of men.. Yeh..I'll stop now...

I saw that story on CNN last night. 5 grand for the surgery, to be a virgin for what? a few minutes until you're a non-virgin again?
I understand the procedure for medical reasons, such as sexual problems (for the woman) etc. but just so your man "thinks" he's doing a virgin all over again...mmm waste of money in my eyes, but I guess whatever tickles their pickle.
