I live in Chollas. I loved it right away too. The no ac sucks, but there is something very calming here.
We got in right away.
We really enjoy living here.

im kinda curious about those too.. does anyone have any pictures of them?? the sites wouldnt show up.

I do not have any pics, but I can say that they are pretty. Four plex style townhouses, lots of playgrounds... one every fourplex or so. We have a HUGE double car garage. Lots of storage. And the most important thing for me, lots of open space... I am a little claustrophobic and these are quite nice for me. No backyards, but we do have patios.
I cannot think of anything else... ask away.

If there was AC and was staying here id be in there in a heartbeat!

I know its not that long of a waiting time, I am just concern because we are due in early december with our first... i just dont want to be trying to move in when the baby is born.

right now im on the bayview waiting list but they keep expanding thier wait time and im having a baby in november so i need something as soon as i can get something!! im in arizona right now so thats why im really dying to see pictures but if noone has any i think im gonna hafta make a trip out there to see them. it sucks!! lol.

The area is like much of San Diego. We are really close to La Mesa (home of Java Mommas - great coffee house for mommies), and literally right down the hill there is a Target, WalMart, Sams Club, 24hr Fitness. Its close to everything. There is a lake right beside our housing (nice for walks, look at ducks), so we have more green areas than some of the housing I have seen.
I wish I had pics, but I suck at that sort of thing.

thanks! that does help. i know where la mesa is kinda. i used to live in chula vista in lofgren terrace.. and i think ive been to the lake youre talking about possibly.. that would be perfect if it was right around there!

we would have however we didnt marry until last month... when we were able to afford it.

well the list isnt long, we just moved up to number 10 from yesterday being at number 11.... we you talked to them by anychance did you talk to Tammy... she is the first one you talk to (thats what messed us up was that they had use talk to the wrong person first and our papers were never sent over to tammy)

well anyways i have driven by several times and the outside ans surrounding area look great... location is really nice and not to mention not bad either.

but i do have a question, for those who live there.. when you exit out of the complex its the 94 thats right there in front right?? im trying to figure out the quickest way to get to the 32nd street base from there so i know and dont get lost. lol.

Yup that is the 94... Just hop on that, take the 15 south and then the Main St exit. Its like a 10min or so drive to 32nd street... with no traffic.
But I bought myself a GPS so I wouldn't get lost... best $198 I ever spent.
