I have been having sharp pain near my incision on the side..not on the actually incision but like it is in the inside of me not the outside if that makes sense..anyone else feel this and is it normal? I am not sure if it is or not since it has been 3 months. I don't feel it all the time just occasionally...right now it has been on and off for about an hour

I still have pains like that and my c section was a little over 3 years ago.. My dr. seems to think that it's because I have a very thick rope like scar (on the inside) of my incison.. the outside healed beautifully.. Mine mostly still bothers me if I get up the wrong way from laying on the couch or if I stretch...

Have you been doing anything extra strenous?? Lifting?? I know mine hurt for quite a while when I'd over exert myself.

Mine hurts sometimes when i have to take a poopy but its been 3yrs. I remember just 3 mo after and the pinging feeling. I think it may be normal. it could just be you might have stressed the area. I wouldnt worry about it to much but if its really bothering you or you get scared id call the doc!!

good luck hun and i hope it gets better for ya!

:yes... it's been 3 years since mine, and I'm still pretty numb.. I've noticed some feeling is coming back though.. so slowly but surely it will come back.

Yes, I still get those sometimes. Its been over a year since my first C-section, and almost 2 months since my last one. I have a bunch of areas where its totally numb too.

My mom told me that even after all these years, sometimes her incision area still itches, and some places are still numb. So I guess its all normal.

I had pains like that and my incision ended up being inflamed. I had to get a shot of cortizone in my scar.....You might want to mention it to the Dr!

My mom told me the same thing.. hers was almost :scared 27 years ago..

Oh man.. I hate the numbness. Ten years ago when I had my first c section it was STILL numb when I had my recent one. Drive me crazy :nutts :lol

I get those sharp pains too. Scares me to death though. I had a HORRIBLE infection (thanks to the LOVELY docs at NMCSD) so I am always worried, even though its healed, that its another infection inside.
