I think the timeframe is really up to you. I will be sending out the list to everyone on November 1st. I would say as a safe bet, you should have your cards mailed early to mid December time frame so they'll be there by Christmas. I try to send mine out during the 1st week of December.

At $0.42 each stamp, that's around $32 if we get 80 people participating. Plus 80 cards, which can range anywhere from $10 (dollar store cheapies) to $60+ depending on the quality and deals you find for the cars.

Awesome! I've been on boards before where you'd get the list and have like 2 days to do all of them and send them out. With 70 plus people I need at least a week...ROFL.

Omg, I know! I was writing those bloody christmas cards for several weeks! I chose specific cards for specific people. And even if I didn't know someone well enough to write a personal note, I still wrote a little something. And then I got all these cards with just a signature..and I was like "Omg!" :arg

I'm just a christmas nut, I love everything about it. I enjoy sitting down and personalizing all the cards to send out to everyone. I know not all people will have the time or inclination to do that, and that is perfectly fine to. Its great that people want to participate in this, so that makes me happy. :yes

I personally would rather have the card addressed to myself. For me, SOS is my world, not my families. LOL. I'm more than happy to let my husband and son read the cards though, if they so choose. I always display each and every card I receive. I dedicate a wall in the house and then I tape all the cards up on the wall. I'll have to take a picture of it once I receive all the cards for this year's CCE. :yes
