A low grade fever? DD is two and has had a 100.05ish fever since she woke up.. unless she has had some medicine.. her nose isn't drippy, not coughing, no molars/teeth coming in.. etc.. Does anyone have any suggestions, should i make an appt?

as long as she's not super lethargic, is staying well hydrated and doesn't seem to be in pain i wouldn't worry about it unless the fever hits 103. probably just a virus running its course.

Val gets strange fevers out of nowhere all the time. anything above 103 and I'd call and see what the doc reccomends. Otherwise unless she's uncomfy, just give her some tylenol/motrin and let it run its course.

If it's 100.5 don't give her anything and just keep her hydrated. It's worse to give Tylenol/Motrin until the fever gets higher.

I would let it run it's course since it's such a low grade fever. Just lots and lots of fluids. Good Luck Girly.

My DS gets fevers like that when he is overtired. They say they can get another set of molars in the 2nd year. I don't know. He is just 2.5 years. Just keep her hydrated and let the body fight it off. Don't medicate unless it gets worse or she is really uncomfortablt.
