DH and I are finally having our "real" wedding!! :yeehaw We "eloped" when we got married and never had the church wedding and reception but my Dad offered to "host" (pay for :mrgreen ) us to have a wedding, wedding!!! I can't wait to start planning, the kids are pretty much old enough to be a part of it and anytime someone get's married in my family it's a MAJOR affair. I think my favorite is the choreographed (sp?) dances and the money dance :giggle . It means a trip home and I get to see ALL my family and my Uncle up here offered us a honeymoon for our "wedding" gift. I just don't know when to plan for it b/c DH starts work ups in June and leaves for deployment early next year. :ohno

awww congrats thats sooooo great i want a wedding soooo bad. we are planning on doing it with a bonus or tax money. hope it all goes well have fun!!!

We also had a JOP ceremony that did not feel like a real wedding at all.

We're planning on having the real thing in two years. My parents are paying for most of it since they are the ones pushing for a church wedding.

We were going to do it this year, we even had the reception place booked but then something came up and we had to cancel all our plans. At least it will be easier to plan things this time around since I have everything picked out already.
