Mommy2Bailey 09-11-2007, 12:00 PM why are they even doing the three hour? I didn't think it was absolutely required to diagnose GD... :puzz Just for kicks or what? To make me drink more of that nasty stuff...lol MIKOSWIFEY 09-11-2007, 12:02 PM LOL I hate that stuff! It always makes me want to puke. thelinks99 09-11-2007, 12:03 PM That is definitely too high. But don't worry, I had diabetes my entire pregnancy, and my baby was just fine. I actually got tired of having to eat all the time. Cat 09-11-2007, 12:05 PM oh I had GD when I was preggo with Robbie but I also had to take insulin shots too. Good thing I did or he would have ended up weighing alot more than what he did plus they took him 2 weeks early just to avoid him being a big baby since my older two sons were like 11lbs 2 oz and 9lbs 2 oz. Robbie ended up weighing 7lbs 10 oz. NavyChiefs_Wife 09-11-2007, 12:06 PM wow, that's really high. *Crystal* 09-11-2007, 12:22 PM My one hour test was that high with Reagan. I did pass my 3 hour test though, so you still have hope!! What did you eat or drink before the test....even anything the night before can affect it! Mommy2Bailey 09-11-2007, 12:23 PM My one hour test was that high with Reagan. I did pass my 3 hour test though, so you still have hope!! What did you eat or drink before the test....even anything the night before can affect it! I ate nothing before the test. The night before i dont remember what I ate but i had nothing for at least 10 hours before that test. Kaymara 09-11-2007, 12:31 PM Good luck on your test. Maybe something you drank affected it? I ate like normal the day before mine and it was 111. Hopefully you pass it. If not you'll be fine. Just gotta do some minor adjustments from my understanding. *Crystal* 09-11-2007, 12:35 PM I ate nothing before the test. The night before i dont remember what I ate but i had nothing for at least 10 hours before that test. Hmmmm hopefully it was just a fluke then. I didnt eat anything the day of, but I had a baked potato the night before which affected mine. Kiser'sBabe 09-11-2007, 12:37 PM Wow that is pretty high. Good luck girl Traci 09-11-2007, 01:47 PM If it's already high why would they make you drink that stuff for the 3 hour. The only thing it will do is make it higher. harrisonsdream 09-11-2007, 01:49 PM i loved the orange soda stuff they made me drink. but that number is way high Mommy2Bailey 09-11-2007, 04:04 PM i loved the orange soda stuff they made me drink. but that number is way high I had the fruit punch and it wasnt that bad but this time i have to drink twice as much. Sorry I cant remember all the specifics but I thought it was kinda interesting. The size of the jelly beans differ and if they get stuck in your teeth the sugar isnt absorbed the same way Twink 09-11-2007, 06:42 PM I was reading up on the jelly bean way to go and from everything I read its not as accurate.
