I dont remember anything from when I lived there. When DH's ship pulls in, I'm going out there and need a hotel. The San Diego navy lodge is booked that weekend so which is closer? Miramar or North Island? Thanks!

North Island

North Island is a lot closer than Miramar, so I would give them a call, but don't cross your fingers too hard -- they are booked ALL THE TIME, it amazes me. Good luck! :goodvibes

north island is, though both are within reasonable distance. However, I can tell ya now that north island is ALLLLLLLLLLLLWAYS booked unless you book like 6 months in advance. Ive tried for reservations about 10 times and never once got through, and Miramar is just as bad it seems like. So, you may want to look at other surrounding hotels also.
