How much different are they from regular PCS moves? I know we don't get DLA or TLE, but what else is different? I'm freaking out here.. :banghead

No DLA.. I don't know what TLE is...
You have to move the distance of your home of record (where your DH signed up). You can get the military to do it or you can get some money from a DITY. If you move further than your HOR, you pay out of pocket. If you do a military move, you pay that money in advance.

If the military moves you, you pretty much only get what it gets you to get you there to your HOR and thats it...Nothing Else! End Of Story! Its a very tight move...trust me!!!

Joe's home of record is Leesville (Fort Polk) Louisiana. We're moving to Killeen (Fort Hood) Texas instead, which is actually closer. That means we shouldn't have to pay anything out of pocket, right?

Do we still get per diem and mileage?

yeah you get per diem and mileage..but thats about it..lol
