Do you marinate? With what?

Do you grill? Fry? broil?

_________________________________________________________________

I like to marinate w/ italian dressing or some of the marinades out there...Then brush butter on it & the spice, if I use one.

We normally cook it on the Foreman grill, but lately I've been frying them. I think I'm going to try broiling for awhile. Trying to figure out what leaves them the most juicy.

We don't have a grill, otherwise we'd use that :(

Grill, or broil. I usually sprinkle some kind of steak spice or garlic powder before cooking....

It's hard! You have to try it a couple times w/ the timing in order to get it just right :tired

Grill, broil, bake, fry.. I've made them all sorts of ways..

I usually marinate them before we grill/broil. I love trying new marinades and spice blends.

I cook mine on a skillet usually, they end up pretty juicy. I heard that if you sear it real quick in the pan on both sides and THEN broil it til done, it is the best ever. I'm no good with a broiler though, so I haven't tried it.

Grill or broil here....

And my steak gets Emeril's Garlic Parmesan Essence for Bread rubbed into it, then sprinkled with McCormick Montreal Steak Seasoning

I grill until rare, with kosher salt and pepper.

Sometimes I marinade steaks in red wine, garlic and sliced red onion.

grill them low and slow...
to keep them juicy, pull them out of the fridge for about 20 mins before cooking. also let them rest about 5 mins once they are done
never cook more then 120-130 degrees. it will cook another 10 while sitting.
medium rare rocks!!!

I always eat my steaks the same way - sprinkle some Lawry's on both sides, and throw that puppy on the grill.

Usually we just season it with Hawaiian seasoning and pepper and cook it on our small Foreman grill. :drool

I like any type of marinade. I will let the meat sit for a few hours in it then I either throw them on the grill or crockpot. I love steak in the crockpot.

mARINATE IN:

Olive oil, garlic powder, red pepper, worcesterchire sauce, cajum seasoning, pickle juice, onions, applesauce, etc...leave it in there for three days covered in plastic.

Throw on ridiculously hot grill for maybe three seconds a side.

Weather permitting, grill, otherwise broil. I usually rub sea salt onto the fat or bone and then rub with olive oil and garlic (fresh or powder). we eat them rare so we don't cook them very long (7-8 min in broiler).

We usually just grill them, even if its raining.

DH marinates them for about a day.
